Choosing your stone

Granite

Very hard and heat resistant. Every slab is unique. Needs sealing about once a year.

Quartz

Engineered stone with a consistent look. Non-porous and low maintenance. Keep hot pans off it.

Marble

Classic veining for vanities, fireplaces and showers. Softer, so it can etch from acids.

Quartzite

Looks like marble with the strength of granite. A good choice for busy kitchens.
